1,000 join in Covers' carol concert

Timber and builders merchants Covers raised £2,750 for charity this week with its annual carol concert - attended by more than 1,000 people!
Held on December 21 at Covers head office in Chichester, the concert was the sixth annual event of its kind. The crowd of more than 1,000 was backed by the Chichester Amateur Operatic Society and Father Christmas was in attendance, with reindeer, to hand out presents from his grotto.
The money raised will go to the Sussex Community Foundation to help support local communities. Foundation chairman John Eel said: "What Covers have done today is amazing and to raise this amount of money for our charity is unbelievable. Thanks you so much."
