£1,500 worth of fish stolen from garden centre
More than 10 Koi Carp and half a dozen Diamond Sterlets, worth more than £1,500 have been stolen from Maidenhead Aquatics at St John's Garden Centre.

The incident is believed to have taken place between 9pm last night and 8am this morning.

It is the second time in less than eight weeks that St John's has been targeted. On June 27, robbers broke into the centre, taking chainsaws worth around £500 and causing damage to the property.

Police fear that the fish will die very soon if they are not given the proper care and conditions.

Devon & Cornwall constabulary are appealing for anyone with information, or who has been offered the fish for sale to contact them on 08452 777444 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
