£2,000 prize draw winner revealed

Published: 16 July 2010
Fiona Fabien, owner of Papyrus Gifts, has won the £2,000 travel voucher prize draw at Exclusively Housewares in June.
Ms Fabien dropped her business card in one of the show's collection points for the draw during her visit. She said. "I've never won anything before, so this is fantastic, particularly as it is such a generous amount. I have been thinking it could be the chance to sort out the holiday of a lifetime."

The Papyrus Cookshop, a subdivision of Papyrus Gifts, has been established for 20 years. "The cookshop side of our business does well, we saw its turnover increase by a higher percentage than our card and gift shops during the credit crunch,' said Ms Fabien.

"It has always been regarded as a wee treasure trove by Glasgow cooks and often gets mentioned in our local press. The cookshop is an excellent complement to our three card and gift shops."

Ms Fabien added, "Exclusively Housewares has gradually taken over as our most important housewares buying show, and this year I thought the line up of exhibitors and products was particularly good."

The show's organisers gave their congratulations to Ms Fabien, along with a gentle reminder to try and avoid being out of the UK next June 7-8th!
