Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

A service that delivers

Published: 5 January 2009
A new delivery system, from kitchen and bathroom distributors Mark Two, allows consumers to arrange their own delivery and check or change their order themselves, despite having bought through national retailers such as Wickes, Next and Tesco.
A service that delivers
The technology allows consumers to watch their delivery online including how the vehicle is progressing and what time it will arrive. The biggest bonus is that recipients no longer need to wait in all day to take delivery, they can simply track its progress online and make a short visit home at the right time.

The company also sends consumers three text messages to keep them updated of the delivery's progress. Mark Two md Nick Hopkinson MBE said: "The economic climate is tough but our investment and innovation has helped solve the biggest problem facing home delivery customers."
