Amtech to launch new power tools at Spring Fair
Published: 18 January 2018
Amtech is set to launch a new power tools range at Spring Fair inspired by changes it has seen in the home improvement and DIY sector, with a growing trend towards more light-side DIY projects to improve the look and feel of homes. This has been driven, says the company, by a slowdown in housing transactions, as well as an increasing number of people choosing to rent. To support this shift in the shopper’s mind-set, Amtech is launching a new range of power tools to ensure consumers can benefit from “guaranteed quality at a compelling price point”. Each product within the range has a two-year guarantee and consumers also benefit from a product support service. Amtech head of marketing Ricky Johal, says: “We have evaluated shopper data and sector insights to identify key trends, so that we can ensure our brand and product proposition maximises the primary purchase drivers of quality, value and range. The addition of power tools and accessories to our extensive 2000+ catalogue of tools for the home, garage and garden, perfectly positions us to address consumer needs more effectively, whilst our value-added service of free product advice, tackles the generational skills gap that exists in today’s market.”
