Launched this week, Argos' new autumn/winter 2012 range and catalogue include Habitat products for the first time.
Argos and Homebase parent Home Retail Group bought the iconic but loss-making homewares brand out of administration last year. Just three Habitat stores remain, in London's Finchley Road, King's Road and Tottenham Court Road, but a range of products have been introduced into Homebase stores.
Now, 1,000 Habitat lines are offered in the new-season range and 78th Argos catalogue, which are available for home delivery or pick up in selected stores.
The catalogue features 9,000 new products in total, including 250 Argos Value products, and 400 special deals. In addition, the company says 10,000 prices have been held or lowered.
Amongst what it says are its top 10 best value deals are a Vax cylinder vacuum cleaner, less than half price at £54.99, and a Tefal non-stick aluminium five-piece pan set, again sold at under half price at £35.99.
Launching the new collections, Argos managing director John Walden said: "We're very aware that these are difficult times, with many still feeling the pinch, so with our new range launch we've focused on great value on daily essentials and the latest must-haves in areas such as technology and toys."
