Attic Self Storage launches a UK first

Attic Self Storage has announced that it will be expanding its footprint by launching a brand new concept facility in London, following the success of its King’s Cross, Bow and Marylebone sites. The new site in Harrow will be a UK first, that will offer businesses storage with 24/7 access combined with work pod facilities and a 100% contactless self storage service.
Attic has seen a rise in business leaders and entrepreneurs swapping costly office rentals and co-working spaces for safe and secure self-storage units. Benefits include storing files, office equipment and for eCommerce businesses to store their stock.
Attic Self Storage has chosen to incorporate work pods into its new facility in Harrow, in response to people looking for alternative ways to run businesses. The numerous work pods will offer a convenient space for customers to work away from the storage units with access to wifi, plugs for laptops and access to a printer and coffee as well as the opportunity to network with other businesses.
Each unit is secured with a keyless electronic lock which customers can control via an app. Customers can receive notifications on their app every time their unit is opened, and can delegate access to friends, family or colleagues when needed, providing a convenient and flexible storage solution.
The Harrow store showcases a modern design with steel units spanning from 10 to 500 sq ft to meet a range of customer storage needs, with a total planned capacity of 1,000 units. The timelapse video of the facility being developed can be found here.
Frederic de Ryckman de Betz, Founder and CEO of Attic Self Storage, comments: “Attic is excited to launch a UK first, to provide a safe and secure environment for business leaders looking for convenient ways to work and store stock. The facility offers a contemporary space that will become a hub for creativity, business growth and entrepreneurialism. We are already taking bookings with the facility opening this March.”
