Avocado knife scoops global design award

The new avocado knife from Kuhn Rikon's successful Colori collection of kitchen knives and gadgets has won an international design accolade.
The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design has bestowed The Good Design Award 2012 - one of the world's most prestigious global accolades for new product design and graphics -.on the specialist knife.
The avocado knife was conceived by Kuhn Rikon's Swiss design team, led by Philipp Beyeler.
The award comes hot on the heels of recognition for the new Kuhn Rikon Colori baguette knife, from the same design team, which recently made it into the MOMA, (Museum of Modern Art) New York store.
