Published: 15 August 2016
Discount retail giant B&M opened its centenary garden centre store this week, taking the opportunity to outline plans for 10 more garden centres in 2016.
The Salisbury store marks the 100th garden centre from B&M since it ventured into the garden industry in 2011. According to the retailer, it sold "enough artificial turf to cover more than nine football pitches and enough fence panels to cross the English channel five times, as well as more than five million plants" last year alone.
B&M remains firmly on track to reach 850 stores by the end of the year, with a total of 50 new stores planned for the end of its 2016/17 financial year.
The lankmark 100th garden centre store can be found at the Dolphin Retail Park in Salisbury.
