Drawing inspiration from the performance of Team GB at London 2012, staff members from Kingfisher took to the water, bikes and track for partner charity UK Youth at this year's London Triathlon.
The charity was one of the best represented at the event, with more than 170 taking part including B&Q ceo Martyn Philips and Kingfisher's group corporate affairs director Nick Folland. Competitors were given the option to either go it along or make up a team of three to complete the course.

Athletes could choose to complete a sprint distance either on bike, in water or running, or the Olympic distance - 1500m swimming, 40km biking and 10km running. More than £100,000 was raised for Youth UK.

B&Q ceo Martyn Philips said: "I am so pleased with the work that both B&Q and UK Youth has put in to the London Triathlon. Our relationship with UK Youth is something that we are very proud of and the event was a great opportunity to raise money, as well as bring our store colleagues, head office colleagues and the colleagues at UK Youth together."

UK Youth ceo Charlotte Hill added: "Ever since the beginning of our partnership with B&Q their staff have been amazing and supported our work in so many ways. The incredible turnout at the London Triathlon is the latest example of what B&Q are doing collectively and as individuals to help us support young people in the UK. It was a great day and one that I'll remember for a long time."

The team's headcount was a marked improvement on UK Youth's 2011 supporters who got involved, of which there were just three.
