B&Q joins forces with Alan Titchmarsh
The popular gardening and daytime tv presenter was chosen after her topped the polls of B&Q's customers in terms of who they trusted most for gardening advice. Titchmarsh will provide regular tips and advice through in-store communication and on B&Q website.

Commenting on the partnership Titchmarsh said: "I am passionate about getting Britain gardening. It's a practical way of doing our bit for our own health and that of the planet. My partnership with B&Q as the UK's largest chain of garden centres means that we will have the opportunity together to reach as many people as possible and get everyone, young and old, keen and novice, having a go in their gardens."

There will also be improvements to the retailer's grow-your own, decorative gardening products, FSC-accredited garden furniture, garden buildings and garden power products ranges. New products include kid's gardening kits, wooden-framed cold frames and a complete range of pop-up planters, tunnels and kits under the new grow-your-own label.
