After beating off competition from the likes of one of the UK's favourite retailers, B&Q is celebrating being named as responsible retailer of the year at the Scottish Retail Excellence Awards.
The awards ceremony, hosted by tv personality Lorraine Kelly, recognised the top achievers in Scottish retail.

B&Q was shortlisted in a number of categories but took top honours for its commitment to corporate responsibility and the community.

Damian McGloughlin, director of operations, North Division, who attended the awards on behalf of B&Q said: "Our commitment to social responsibility lies at the heart of our business and I am delighted that we have been recognised for this."
