Staff across the DIY chain's 330 stores surprised customers with an impromptu dance performance on Saturday in a bid to raise funds for charity.
All of B&Q's 330 stores got involved in the flash mob and took part in a dance routine at 11.30am on Saturday to the Black Eyed Peas' 'I've Got a Feeling', including 96-year old Sid Prior who works at the New Malden store.
According to the company, the event caused quite a stir and attracted a few strange glances, but thousands of B&Q staff, customers, local residents and community groups all joined the fun.
B&Q said at the weekend: "Thousands of B&Q staff and customers took part in today's flashmob and it was great to see so many people joining in. The idea behind the dance moment is to show the nation how easy it is to learn a new skill, whether it's dancing or DIY that takes your fancy and what great fun it can be to learn a new skill together."
