Home improvement retailer launches its largest digital advertising campaign to help drive spending and promote its winter kitchen and bathroom sale.
With fears that consumer spending will remain flat in January, DIY giant B&Q has announced a £1.75 million online creative campaign to support its winter kitchen and bathroom sale.
The online advertising campaign mirrors the TV and print ads, which launched the sale on the December 15 and is part of a total £5.5 million marketing campaign to help launch the retailer's winter sale.
B&Q has committed to beat any price in the kitchen and bathroom market, slashing prices until the beginning of March. Deals include a Cooke & Lewis Helena bathroom suite reduced from £1,036 to £642 and a Cooke & Lewis Carisbrooke kitchen from around £3,575 down to £2,512. The retailer is also offering a four-year interest free credit deal to help customers spread the cost of their home investment.
B&Q's marketing director Katherine Patterson said: "Customers increasingly shop around on line to make sure they've got the best deal so we're responding to this by reassuring the nation online, in print and on TV that B&Q will not be beaten on price."
