B&Q today unveiled its newly enhanced website, www.diy.com, with extended product ranges and intelligent new features.
The changes to www.diy.com form part of the home improvement retailer's biggest ever programme of change, the retailer said.
Featuring a new 'Room Designer' service, visitors to the website can see the latest range of decorative products and explore a range of decorative options.
The service also provides a 'colour match' guide, and the opportunity to add products to 'favourites', which can be ordered as samples and delivered.
An online calculator works out exactly how many cans of paint or rolls of wallpaper are needed.
While all items selected in a final room design can be added to an online shopping list, which will cost the project and can be printed and taken into the store.
Referring to the upgrades to the site, Jonathon Brown, director of multichannel, said the site is designed to appeal to increasingly diverse home improvement enthusiasts.
