B&Q to install 'emergency kitchen' for couple after order blunder

A Bristol couple have been left “frustrated and appalled” after B&Q delivered them the wrong kitchen three times, leaving them without a kitchen in the run up to Christmas.
Stella and Angelo Armato have been left without a kitchen for the last two months after their old one was removed in readiness for a new Chesterton £13,700 kitchen from B&Q back in October. B&Q then sent them units in the wrong size three times. According to the Bristol Post, the couple then decided to cut their losses and send the entire kitchen back, but then learned they'd have to wait another eight weeks for a full refund.
The couple have had to make do with an oven, a fridge and a make-shift work surface in their garage.
B&Q has now apologised to the couple, saying it will provide a full refund and install appliances and a worktop in their kitchen on Friday, December 23.
