B&Q unveils Spring Summer collection
Published: 12 February 2014
B&Q has begun stocking its seasonal home and garden ranges for Spring Summer 2014, this year pushing innovation, ease of use and British design.
New 'style house' decor collections provide customers with a wide choice of products. The Authentic collection brings neutral aspects of coastal living indoors; the Contemporary collection combines cosy furnishings with bold patterns in contrasting palettes; the Heritage collection focuses on modern architectural Paris-themed bedroom decoration; and Multicolour adds splashes of colour into any room design.
There are new outdoor leisure furniture ranges, too, which B&Q claims have been designed to work indoors or outdoors. This includes weatherproof dining table ranges made from natural materials, including rattan and teak, and even outdoor lighting.
B&Q parent company Kingfisher's own brand of 'innovative essentials' includes Blooma barbeques, that are designed for all-year-round use and feature foldaway counters and cutlery drawers; storage ideas from Form; and Clic kitchen cabinet carcasses from Cooke & Lewis. The retailer's exclusive British designs this spring and summer include the quick-assemble industrial and domestic wheelbarrow, Barrow in a Box, from the Walsall Wheelbarrow Company, and the Farnall glass table lamp, which combines vivid, brightly coloured materials to create a big impression.
These new ranges are already going into stores and are available on B&Q's website.
