Published: 22 July 2008
A horticultural advisor from the Barrow branch of B&Q has won his appeal against a four-month prison sentence after admitting theft from the DIY retailer.
He will now fulfil an 18-month supervision order. David Stagg was caught on CCTV walking out of the store with unpaid for goods and later admitted two other occasions, stealing goods in excess of £1,000.
