Barton Grange to miss Easter opening

Published: 20 March 2008
'Early next week,' a spokesperson says.
Barton Grange is to miss its Easter opening target.

Garden centre bosses had hoped the talk of town would be open just before the Bank Holiday, however it appears teething problems have lead to a near miss.

The £15m new site at Brock has been in construction since Spring 2007, and once open will be one of the largest garden centres in the UK.

Another part of the complex - an 80 berth canal marina - will open in May.
