Bayer Garden has appointed MJF Sales & Marketing Ltd as its sales agency in the South West.
Matt Fevin has worked in the gardening and leisure sector for two years and established MJF Sales and Marketing Ltd, which also works with Wolf Garten and Wilkinson Sword, in September 2009.
Mr Fevin said: "The geographic area I cover is smaller and tighter than is generally the case with in-house sales representatives. This means I am able to visit my customers twice as often as would generally be the case and so can develop stronger, mutually beneficial relationships. To date the feedback has been extremely positive and my customers are pleased to hear that I have added the Bayer Garden product range to my portfolio."
The appointment completes the implementation of Bayer Garden's sales strategy, which was first announced in September 2009. The strategy is designed to expand and enhance the service Bayer delivers to customers, as well as deepen the company's penetration as the 2010 gardening season begins.
Bayer Garden's head of sales Roger Self said: "We are delighted to have appointed MJF Sales & Marketing Ltd in the South West... The agency already works with a number of significant brands in the gardening sector. This means our customers will benefit more from every visit, which in turn enables us to deliver one of the key strands of our new sales strategy, improving the service we deliver to customers at the same time as boosting sales."
