Denholm Agency replaces garden care company’s reps to handle business in Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England.
Prior to the appointment of an agency, Bayer Garden had two representatives covering the region. According to the company, Denholm Agency will provide five individuals, including Kevin Reilly, who formerly held the role of territory manager at Bayer.
Bayer Garden field sales manager Roger Self said: "The appointment of Denholm Agency, which has a strong reputation in the sector, is the next step in the implementation of our new sales strategy. The increase in the number of individuals able to satisfy the needs of our customers means we can improve the service at the same time as boosting sales."
He added: "We are continuing to work with and support our own sales team as they look to secure new positions during the transition to this sales structure throughout the country."
Established in 1975, Denholm Agency is based in Hamilton, Lanarkshire. The company works with a number of successful brands, including Town & Country, Baker Taylor, Alexander Rose and Sinclair.
