Shower supplier Roman was recently picked to feature both in television and radio news items about successful British manufacturing.
Managing director David Osborne and production operative Janelle O'Hara were both interviewed by the BBC at Roman's County Durham headquarters, and filming of the company's factory floor, tray plant and showroom was also broadcast on BBC news.
Mr Osborne also did several interviews with local radio stations in the north east, answering questions about British manufacturing, the benefits of being a British manufacturer and Roman's success.
Roman has flown the flag for British design and manufacture since the company was founded in 1985. It displays the Made in Britain logo on all its product packaging, websites and social media platforms along with marketing materials and point-of-sale merchandising.
David Osborne said the company was "delighted to be approached to feature as a prime example of a successful British manufacturer in the north east".
Mr Osborne has just been
appointed president of the Bathroom Manufacturers Association.
