Bents celebrates a decade of long-service club

Published: 28 May 2013
Staff with 10 or more years' experience with Bents Garden & Home have been celebrating the tenth anniversary of the company's exclusive 10+ Club.
Bents celebrates a decade of long-service club
Launched in 2003 with a membership of 14, the club now has 63 members - a figure that demonstrates a fantastic level of loyalty amongst colleagues, says the Warrington-based garden centre.

All members of the 10+ Club are invited to an annual 'thank-you' lunch held in the garden centre's Fresh Approach restaurant. In addition to Bents' usual colleague benefits such as birthday vouchers, birthday day off, pension scheme and 'Benidorm leave' (a limited period of unpaid holiday), members of the 10+ Club also receive an additional gift such as a free weekend away for two.

Said Bents managing director Matthew Bent: "This year the 10+ Club welcomed 13 new members, all of whom joined us in the Fresh Approach Restaurant for our annual celebration. It provides a great way of celebrating long-term commitment and we look forward to welcoming even more new members in the years to come."

The club also includes 10 retired colleagues who were original members and continue to attend the annual dinner.
