Yesterday's BHETA agm saw John Newcomb re-elected for his second year as president of the association.

There were also changes to the rest of the board as Le Creuset's Nick Ryder, Abus' Nick Vanderhoest and Lifestyle Products' Peter Bello all retired by rotation. As previously reported, Mr Ryder and Mr Vanderhoest did not stand for re-election. Mr Bello did, and was re-elected.
Three directors resigned - Abru's Chris Ball, former DKB man Huw Buckle and former GW international sales and marketing director Mike Holmes.
La Cafetiere's John Jackson was elected to the board, and was also elected vice president for housewares. His counterpart for DIY is now former association president Andrew Weiss, who was elected yesterday after Hamilton Acorn's md John Grayson stepped down after two years as DIY vice president. Mr Grayson, however, remains on the board.
Gordon South was also re-elected as the association's treasurer.
It means the board now comprises 12 members compared with 16 last June - the maximum allowed under the association's mem & arts.
They are:
Executive directors
Peter Stone
Will Jones
Non-executive directors
Andrew Weiss, Isaac Lord
Gordon South, Western House
James Green, Churchill China
John Grayson, Hamilton Acorn
