The British Home Enhancement Trade Association has been shortlisted in two categories in the Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice Awards.
Shortlisted for Event of the Year is BHETA’s successful Bunnings Forum, which took place November and saw UK and Ireland managing director PJ Davis make the first public presentation of the UK Bunnings business since its acquisition of Homebase. BHETA has also been shortlisted for the Membership Engagement Award.
The winners will be announced at the 2017 Best Practice Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, July 12 at Drapers Hall in London, coinciding with TAF’s Annual Conference. The awards recognise, reward and promote best practice amongst trade associations in the UK and are a chance for TAF members to showcase their achievements during the previous twelve months. The TAFAwards are endorsed by leading National Awarding Organisation NCFE and formally supported by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills,
BHETA home improvement sector director Paul Grinsell commented: “It’s a great honour to be acknowledged amongst our peers and it’s great to be recognised for the level of added value we give to our membership. Compliance, advice and practical help are all very important parts of our offer but the access we enable for our members to added sales at home and abroad really sets us apart. It’s also fantastic for the whole team to have its success recognised in this way.”
