BHETA secures major retailers to speak at forums

The British Home Enhancement Trade Association’s forums this autumn will feature guest speakers from Lakeland and US giant The Home Depot.

The Home Depot managing director of European sourcing, Massimiliano Zampella will present at the BHETA forum on October 16, whilst Lakeland buying and merchandising director Samm Swain will be guest speaker at the association’s forum on November 1.

Mr Zampella will be presenting his views on the current market and latest consumer and retail trends, together with an overview of the future strategic direction and focus of the Home Depot team in 2019 and beyond.

Mneanwhile, Ms Swain, who was appointed to her role in February 2017 and has been with the company for over eight years, will be sharing Lakeland’s latest plans and strategic thinking in relation to the current market.  She will also be highlighting the opportunities for suppliers and how best they can interact with Lakeland going forward.

Both events will be held at Federation House in Birmingham with a start time of 10am. There will be other industry guest speakers and further detail will be available nearer the time via the BHETA website or by speaking to BHETA member services.
