Members of the British Home Enhancement Trade Association will be showcasing their products to over 140,000 consumers at this November's BBC Good Food Show.
BHETA has been involved with the show before, but this will be the first year in which the association has tried to create a retail store environment where the consumer will see a coordinated display of products representing all the key categories.
BHETA housewares director Will Jones told sister website HousewaresLive.net that the association hopes to sign up between nine and 11 members for the initiative. Amongst those to have booked already are simplehuman, WMF, Jarden and Samuel Groves.
And, said Jones: "With many more members expressing an interest we should have a good cross-section of all the housewares categories.
"This is an ideal opportunity for members to reinforce their brands' market position, gain consumer reaction to new initiatives and create additional sales revenue," he added.
An exhibition management company will carry out all the key tasks - administration, display, stock replenishment, stand management, cash transaction, and breakdown.
There will also be a full training day ahead of the show to ensure that all merchandisers are fully briefed on the ranges and product details.
The BBC Good Food Show takes place at Birmingham's NEC from November 24 to 28.
