Gurj Kleer has been appointed as Bosmere's new business development manager. Within the role Ms Kleer will be responsible for developing relationships with retailers and commercial suppliers who require specialist bespoke products and service.

The sales team has also been expanded with the appointment of Mark Rogers and Matthew Fevin to the roles of sales agents.

Mr Rogers will cover the Midlands, while Mr Fevin will be responsible for the south west.

Bosmere's director Steve Millington said: "The changes in the supply chain in 2014 have created many challenges and opportunities.

"Bosmere is well positioned to meet the needs of the market place in terms of innovation, range, customer service and reliability.

"This year we are celebrating 35 years in the garden industry and these new appointments will further strengthen our sales and marketing operation."

Earlier in the year Bosmere expanded its marketing operation with the appointment of Pippa Bowker as marketing coordinator.
