Essential reading for retailers and suppliers in the home improvement market

Brand new event - entry open!

Published: 12 July 2011
DIY Week has announced the launch of a brand new awards event - The DIY Week Awards.
Brand new event - entry open!
Building on the heritage and success of both the Product of the Year Awards and Britain's Best Retailer Awards, DIY Week is bringing together both the retail and the supply side for the first-ever, all-industry awards ceremony.

The DIY Week Awards will honour the whole of the DIY and garden market: DIY superstores, hardware independents, garden centres, suppliers, manufacturers and wholesalers.
Entry is now open across 15 categories:

Décor Product of the Year
Décor Retailer of the Year
DIY Product of the Year
DIY Superstore Manager of the Year
Garden Tool of the Year
Garden Fertiliser/Chemical of the Year
Garden Accessory of the Year
Garden Retailer of the Year
Hardware Product of the Year
Hardware Retailer of the Year
Hand Tool of the Year
Power Tool of the Year
Tool Retailer of the Year
Security Product of the Year
Security Retailer of the Year

The 2011 DIY Week Awards dinner will be a black tie event at the prestigious Deansgate Hilton in Manchester on Thursday November 24.

DIY Week publisher Colin Petty said: "The launch of the DIY Week awards is a significant step forward. Our previous awards events have been well supported and well received by suppliers and retailers alike, and what we're doing now is bringing the entire DIY and hardware community together under one roof. It will be a bigger, yet more tightly focused event, with more networking opportunities for everyone in DIY - from the giant multi-national names to the smallest independent hardware retailer, and all the manufacturers, importers, distributors and wholesalers who supply them."

To enter, retailers and suppliers simply need to visit diyweek.net
and click on the link for the awards. For sponsorship opportunities call Rachael Lyon on 020 8651 7081.
