BREAKING NEWS: Totally shows axed

Published: 14 July 2017 - Fiona Garcia

Sources have revealed that the Totally DIY and Totally Tools shows have been discontinued, with the events team made redundant.

No one at Hemming Group, which owns the Totally Shows, could be reached for comment this afternoon but it is understood that the decision about the future of the shows was made this week, with some members of staff made redundant on Tuesday.

After this year’s Totally DIY and Totally Tools it was revealed that plans were underway to re-brand the event as the National DIY Show and move its February date to June for 2018.

The shows were set to move back to a Sunday-to-Monday format, taking place on June 3 and 4 next year, keeping its venue at the Ericsson Hall at the Ricoh. Organisers also promised that the event would double in size.
