A recent donation by tool supplier Carl Kammerling International has helped the Pwllheli Community First Responders in Wales to buy an AED defibrillator.
The defibrillator will bring huge benefits to the volunteers who are called out on average four times a week to assist the Welsh Ambulance Service.
The team are trained to administer basic first aid, oxygen therapy, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and the use of the newly acquired defibrillator.
Carl Kammerling has supported the Community First Responders since its inception.
Chairman of Carl Kammerling International, Helen Halpin, said: "Our commitment to assisting the Community First Responders in their provision of life saving treatment for its patients, making their tremendously difficult job easier, is integral to our company ethos and is very much entrenched in our overall corporate strategy.
"These trained volunteers give up their spare time in a commitment to saving lives, and we are delighted to do our bit to help serve the local community."
