Carpentry challenge

Carpenter Seb Griffin beat more than 50 contestants to win the local heat of the Irwin Challenge at Covers of Chichester and Bognor Regis last month.
The task involved accurately cutting a piece of wood, marking out, drilling and then making sure the holes fit over two metal rods. Mr Griffin held the fastest time and now qualifies for the national finals, with the chance to win an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.
As a reward for his achievements on the day, completing the challenge in 51.03 seconds, Mr Griffin was presented with a bagful of Irwin goodies, including a power drill.
He said: "I just want to thank Irwin and Covers for hosting the competition."
He will now compete in the final in Birmingham later this year.
