Restaurant and commercial kitchen design company - and Glee's exclusive partner for its Catering Zone - Catering Design Group (CDG), has created its first creative director and business development director roles, as the business continues to enjoy rapid expansion.
Bolstering its senior management team, CDG has appointed Drew Keen as creative director, with the remit to drive and develop the company's interior design offer. A University of Central England graduate, Mr Keen previously held an associate role for 11 years at the Hunter Patel Creative Group, where we was responsible for driving projects for a variety of clients, including Spirit Pub Company, Punch Taverns and Peach Pub Company.
Meanwhile, Claire Smith, who previously worked for CDG for eight years as a project consultant, returns to the business after a four year hiatus at ABDA Design as part of its business development team. An Association of Catering Excellence (ACE) committee member, Ms Smith has worked in the commercial catering and hospitality design sector since 1997.
In her new role as business development director, Ms Smith will be responsible for cultivating new business opportunities and supporting the development of company sales and marketing strategies.
Catering Design Group managing director Philip Howard said of the new appointments: "We are delighted to welcome Drew to the team and Claire back to the 'family'. These are really exciting times for CDG - we're expanding at a rapid rate as we continue to develop our client base and win new contracts. In developing these new roles we are committed to ensuring both existing and new customers are able to benefit from our vast repertoire of in-house skills."
