Centurion's Ken finally shelves the catalogues
Now aged 93, Mr Oxley was the agent in Cornwall for hardware and DIY distributor Centurion Europe and had worked for the company since it started trading in 1984.

Paul Kantecki, Centurion's managing director, said: "Ken has done a stirling job for Centurion over the years. We're sorry to lose him but I have to say his retirement is very well deserved.

"In fact, we're wondering if there are any other salespeople out there in the DIY and hardware industry who can claim such seniority!"
