Ceramique Internationale release Italian tiles to UK

Ceramique Internationale has become the first distributor to offer an exclusive new collection of glazed Italian tiles from producer Marazzi to UK retailers.
Lume is a collection of 6x24cm gloss-effect porcelain stoneware tiles available in six tones including Blue, Green, Musk and Greige. Offering a contemporary take on a Moroccan tradition, Lume is manufactured in modern kilns to reproduce the historic handmade Zellige tiles, meaning it features irregular edges, glaze variations and lifelike flawed surfaces.
The collection is part of Italian manufacturer Marazzi’s Crogiolo range – which translates from Italian to mean ‘crucible’ or ‘melting pot’ – reflecting the tile’s exotic heritage.
Director of Ceramique Internationale, Peter Vann, said: “Lume was the star of the show for Marazzi at Cersaie, and we are sure it will be an equally big hit here in the UK. Zellige is the latest glazing effect boasting stunning worn-out, non-uniform colour and surface variations that reflect the light, and we are excited to launch this exclusive offering to our customers.”
