The IIP accreditation recognises the company's committed approach to staff training and development.
It also means tool and security products supplier Carl Kammerling International joins an exclusive group of UK employers eligible to use and display the sought-after Investors in People logo and plaque.
CKI has been based in Pwllheli, Wales for 58 years, where it is home to the company's brands - C.K tools, C.K Magma, Kasp and Avit - and currently employs more than 80 staff.
This latest recognition sees a hat trick of success stories for the hand tool manufacturer, coming on the back of two product award wins since Christmas - Garden Product 2012 for C.K Legend Bypass Pruner at the BHF awards and Hand Tool of the Year for the C.K Magma Technicians Tool case plus at the DIY Week awards.
Commenting on the award, CKI chairman Helen Halpin said: "This is a fabulous recognition of our commitment to our staff and the dedicated strategy we have in place for their development and improvement. To be accredited by Investors in People is a vindication of our company values and our brand ethos, and we are delighted."
