Swedish retailer Clas Ohlson has announced several new launches this summer, including a new own-brand power tool range and a significantly-extended plumbing offer.
The new entry-level, unbranded power tool range will carry a two-year guarantee and includes a jigsaw, cordless screwdriver and a sander, with many items under £10.

Despite the lower price, the collection has a modern look and uses lithium ion batteries, says the retailer.

Clas Ohlson is also extending its plumbing range from 50 to almost 300 lines, including shower sets, taps, plugs, pipes, fittings and connectors, radiator accessories and waste and overflow accessories. The range will also carry the standard two-year guarantee and features in the new catalogue out on August 25.

The retailer is now providing a five-year guarantee on all its Co-Tech power tools, and a 10-year guarantee on its CoCraft hand tools.

Since launching in the UK in 2008, Clas Ohlson has continued to expand, with 11 stores throughout the UK. Store number 12 is set to open next month in Newcastle.
