Clas Ohlson plans store in Watford

Swedish retailer enters into agreement for new branch in Harlequin Shopping Centre as part of its ongoing expansion plans.
Clas Ohlson has entered into an Agreement for Lease pertaining to a new store in Watford.
The 1,035 sq m store will be located in the Harlequin Shopping Centre in central Watford and is scheduled to open in December this year.
Clas Ohlson plans to open 15-20 new stores during the 2009/2010 financial year, of which between four and eight in the UK. The retailer opened its first UK outlet in Croydon, greater London, just last year. Since then it has taken over retail premises in Kingston, Surrey and Reading, as well as the latest addition in Watford.
The chain already occupies 108 stores across Sweden, Norway, Finland and the UK, with 14 new outlets already contracted, taking its total to 122.
