Closing date for GIMA Awards approaches

Published: 8 June 2012
There’s just one week to go for suppliers to get their entries ready for the 2012 Garden Industry Manufacturers Awards.
The closing date for entries is June 15, with the awards open to suppliers involved in all sectors, from garden machinery, to pet care products and growing media, to giftware will be competing for one of the coveted trophies.

The independent judging panel includes Wilkinson's Simon Moore, Golden Acres' Carrie Gunton and Decco's Charlie Lacey.

Nick Davies, managing director of multiple award winner Solus Garden & Leisure praised the awards event: "The GIMA Awards are a great showcase for the industry to celebrate its innovation in product development, packaging, merchandising design and marketing initiatives. Solus are very proud of the awards we have won, especially the GIMA Sword of Excellence and the Supplier of the Year Award. Of course, the impact of the awards are felt long, long after the presentation night has finished as professional buyers recognise the accolade."
