Coleman strengthens UK team for strategic growth

Published: 12 April 2016
Barbecue and outdoor product supplier Coleman has announced a number of new appointments across both its sales and marketing teams.
The moves follow a merger of the UK's business with that of Benelux and Nordic, and the appointment last August of Andrew Noble as commercial director for the entire region, having worked for the company for over 20 years.

To support the business' expanding product range, Coleman has now promoted Rob Gaffney to national sales manager for the DIY and home markets and appointed Bob Meacham as national account manager. He will grow the organisation's garden and barbecue channels and brings with him experience gained at Solus, Scotts and Interpet.

This follows a bolstering of the outdoor sales team last year, with Duncan Holme joining in September as national account manager and Samantha Dow appointed national field sales manager at the end of the year.

As well as strengthening the sales team, Coleman has appointed Georgina Sattler as senior marketing manager, joining the UK team following five years working in the central team. She will be responsible for all UK marketing activity including retailer support, point of sale, PR and advertising.
