The general manager for Deco-Pak Rod Slater has become the new company director, and the decorative aggregate specialist has also welcomed new national sales and key account manager Bruce Atkinson.

For customers, this represents a move to more efficient and more experienced company structure, with the appointment simultaneously freeing founder Mike Hall to take on the role of chairman.

Bruce Atkinson, formerly of Pacific Lifestyle, comes to the company after over 15 years garden industry sales experience. As Deco-Pak’s national sales and key accounts manager, his appointment will be seen as a statement of intent from the West Yorkshire based company in terms of expansion and growth across its key product categories landscaping, gardening and wild bird care.

Mr Atkinson is currently working with a number of national retailers and garden centre chains developing bespoke ranges and point of sale.
