DIY Week Awards 2014 - deadline now extended
Would-be winners now have another week to put their entries together: the new closing date is Monday, November 25.

The DIY Week Awards are designed to recognise innovation in both DIY and garden products, and to reward the most successful and forward-thinking retailers in the industry.

The products are judged across nine categories: DIY Product of the Year, Decorating Product of the Year, Hardware Product of the Year, Hand Tool of the Year, Power Tool of the Year, Security Product of the Year, Garden Accessory of the Year, Garden Tool of the Year and Garden Fertiliser/Chemical of the Year.

Retailers can enter their business or their staff in the following categories: Décor Retailer of Year, Hardware Retailer of the Year, Tool Retailer of the Year, Garden Retailer of the Year, Store Manager of the Year and Retail Communicator of the Year.

A number of prominent names have already been lined up to join our independent judging panels, with more to be announced nearer the time. Their job will be to decide which entrants will be worthy of taking Gold and Silver on the night, with all the kudos and publicity that that brings with it.

For all the information you need to enter the awards please go to the dedicated website www.diyweek.net/awards.

And you can also find out more there about attending the 2014 awards dinner, which will run on Monday, February 17 during the Totally DIY and Totally Tools exhibition at Coventry's Ricoh Arena.

For more information you can also contact Joanne Harrison on 012573 870780, jharrison@datateam.co.uk or Fiona Garcia on 01622 6991161, fgarcia@datateam.co.uk.
