DIY Week Awards 2024 Winners Announced

Designed to celebrate excellence and innovation, across the DIY, home improvement and garden sectors, the DIY Week Awards 2024 took place on 17th May at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, allowing the industry’s very best to network and celebrate amongst their peers.
After months of anticipation, the winners of the DIY Week Awards 2024 have been announced, with the help of our wonderful sponsors!
The first award of the day was the Decorating Product of the Year, which was won by Avron - Dekton 2-In-1 Cartridge Cutting Tool, with Palace Chemicals, and Luceco being Highly Commended.
Following on from this was the Hand Tool of the Year, with DK Tools - Amtech Multi-Function Trim Puller taking the trophy. Highly Commended was Avron - Dekton.
Next up was the Garden Leisure Product of the Year, with Uni-Powa Corp - Hydria 4-in-1 Water Feature taking the win, with DK Tools and Luceco being Highly Commended in this category.
For the Retailer Support & Marketing Initiative Award, Home Hardware Southwest were the ones to take home the trophy.
The Garden Care Product of the Year was won by Future Developments - Genie Plant & Tomato Feed Tablets, with Crown Paints and Southern Trident being Highly Commended, and the Security Product of the Year was awarded to Burg-Wächter - Sold Secure Bicycle Security Solution Kit, with Avron being Highly Commended.
The Home & Kitchen Product of the Year went to Avron - Breeze Rechargeable 4-In-1 Portable Fan, with Pelsis and Avron - Dekton placing as Highly Commended,whilst STIGA - SC 100e Kit Cordless Pruning Shears won the Garden Tool Product of the Year, and the Highly Commended being Avron - Dekton.
Next was the Power Tool of the Year which Avron - Goodyear Rechargeable Wet & Dry Cordless Vac won, whilst Crown Paints - Enabling customers to make more sustainable choices was awarded the Sustainability Initiative of the Year award, with Draper Tools placing Highly Commended.
Up next was Crown Paints - Crown Retail Quick Dry Eggshell Paint being crowned as the DIY Product of the Year, with Avron - Dekton and Wolfcraft being Highly Commended, as well as the Omnichannel Retailer of the Year, which was awarded to Screwfix,with Homebase and Toolstation being awarded as Highly Commended.
The Editor's Choice Award was given to Pelsis for their Insect-O-Cutor Prism Fly Killer.
The Team of the Year went to Axminster Tools, whilst the Business Expansion Award was won by CMO Group.
The Retailer of the year was awarded to GJ's, with Big Red Shed placing Highly Commended,
The last award of the day was the Industry Personality of the Year, which was awarded to Vijay Sahdev from Avron.
