DIY Week Awards - LAST CALL FOR ENTRIES
If you believe you supply one of the best new DIY or garden products around, or that your store is one of the most proactive and innovative in the industry then don't miss this opportunity to prove it!

Products are judged across nine categories: DIY Product of the Year, Decorating Product of the Year, Hardware Product of the Year, Hand Tool of the Year, Power Tool of the Year, Security Product of the Year, Garden Accessory of the Year, Garden Tool of the Year and Garden Fertiliser/Chemical of the Year.

Retailers can enter their business or their staff in the following categories: Décor Retailer of Year, Hardware Retailer of the Year, Tool Retailer of the Year and Garden Retailer of the Year. There are also the Store Manager category, open to all DIY store and garden centre managers; and Retail Communicator of the Year category, which recognises those retail businesses who go the extra mile in supporting, educating and communicating with their customers.

A host of prominent names have been lined up to join our independent judging panels, with buyers from leading DIY and garden retailers and well-known industry figures, boasting significant market experience. Their job will be to decide which entrants will be worthy of taking Gold and Silver on the night, with all the kudos and publicity that that brings with it.

Confirmed judges to date include Homebase senior buyer Andrew Georgiou, QVC associate buyer for DIY, security, garden and petcare, Jo Wood, Wilkinson buyer Vince Rodgers, Woodcote Garden Centre manager Phil Barnden, Home Hardware Southwest DIY product manager Paul Andrews, interim Garden Centre Association chief executive Iain Wylie, RDT trustee and former DIY Week publisher Colin Petty, British Independent Retailers Association's Steve Akers, and Nigel Wright from Stax Trade Centres.

For all the information you need in order to be in with a chance of winning one of these prestigious awards please go to the dedicated website www.diyweek.net/awards.

And, you can also find out more there about the 2014 awards dinner, which will run on Monday, February 17 during the Totally DIY and Totally Tools exhibition at Coventry's Ricoh Arena.
