A host of suppliers and retailers of hardware and garden products have been revealed as Silver winners in the 2014 DIY Week Awards - but they will have to wait a little longer to find out if they have gone on to scoop Gold.
DIY Week Awards: Silver winners revealed!
Our panels of independent judges have now completed their deliberations and drawn up lists of Silver-winning businesses in each of the product and retailer categories. One business in each category has also been picked to win the ultimate Gold award, but their identities will not be revealed until the DIY Week Awards event next February.

In the retailer awards, the judges picked Silver winners in each of six categories. They are:

Unfortunately, the judges felt that none of the entries in the Hand Tool of the Year category quite met the high standards of innovation and excellence set by the DIY Week Awards, so there are no winners in that category.

The Gold winners in all of the categories will be announced at the prestigious DIY Week Awards event, which, in a change of timing and venue, will take place during next year's Totally shows at Coventry's Ricoh Arena, on Monday, February 17.

And, at the event, DIY Week and the Rainy Day Trust charity will be honouring, for the first time, an individual who has made a significant contribution to the industry.
