DIY Week informed of Homebase job cuts
A Homebase insider told diyweek.net that a statement read out by Homebase group commercial director Maria Thompson on Tuesday November 4, announced 160 redundancies to be made across the retail group.

40 job cuts will take place within the buying and merchandising teams, with the remaining across other head office functions.

A spokesperson for the company said that Homebase is currently unable to confirm reports as the consultation process is still only in its early stages.
