Former Ocado chief financial officer has been appointed the new chairman of Dobbies.
Mr Bracey is part of the Midlothian Capital Partners and Hattington Capital investors who bought Dobbies for £217m from Tesco back in June. Mr Bracey has previously worked with the garden centre chain's new chief executive John Cleland when the two of them worked at Somerfield.
Said Mr Bracey: "I'm very enthusiastic about the business as well as its potential and therefore I'm delighted to be joining as chairman, to support John and the team, and to help steer Dobbies to further growth."
Mr Cleland added: "Andrew has a many years of experience in retail and has a genuine passion for Dobbies, both of which will be a huge benefit to the business as we create a stronger, market-leading company."
