Garden centre made its TV debut on Sunday after Jeremy Clarkson and crew filmed scenes at the site in Clifton for the BBC show earlier this year.
The BBC2 show's stars Jeremy Clarkson, James May, Richard Hammond and the rest of the Top Gear entourage pitched up at Dobbies Garden Centre World Preston in March this year - much to the delight of the centre's customers and staff.
The crew stayed at the site on Blackpool road for a few hours, filming scenes to prove that cabriolet cars can carry large shopping items. The show, which aired on Sunday, August 1, saw Mr Clarkson drive away with a few trees trailing in his wake, while James May attached a garden shed to the roof if his model and Richard Hammond squeezed a plant pot and a statue of a scantily-clad lady into his car.
According to Dobbies, the three celebs all chose their own products and also partook in some entertaining hat shopping in the menswear department.
The centre's general manager John Butcher said: "The Top Gear producers rang us to ask if they could do the filming and also if we wouldn't mind them carting off with a few garden sheds strapped to the back of their cars. It probably errs on one of the more unusual requests we've had to our garden centre - and the Top Gear team created a brilliant atmosphere.
"And yes, they're all exactly like you'd imagine on the TV show - very funny and definitely destructive! It was a very entertaining day for our staff and customers...you certainly don't expect to meet Jeremy Clarkson when you pop to your local garden centre for some plant pots."
