Shurtape has launched a new TV campaign for Duck Tape and Frog Tape in the run-up to Easter - its biggest to date.
It will for the first time include targeted sponsorships and ads around ITV's Breakfast's Good Morning Britain's Home Style programme. The two sponsorships are around its Selling Houses Week and Inspiring Interiors.
The Duck Tape Selling Homes sponsorship started on March 2, while the Inspiring Interiors feature will begin just before Easter and will continue for a fortnight in April, running every morning.
The adjacent Duck and Frog Tape adverts will give new Frog Tape Gloss and Satin its commercial broadcast launch.
The TV campaign will be supported by advertorials in the home improvement press and in-store POS.
Said Shurtape UK head of marketing Alan Murray: "We have consistently supported the UK trade through proactive advertising for six years now, but this is our most ambitious, heavyweight campaign yet.
"Targeting 25-54-year-olds through the key DIY retail season will ensure consumers have more opportunities to see and understand the reasons to buy - driving traffic to stores and helping to cement both brands' market-leading positions."
The campaign closes a hugely successful quarter for Shurtape, in which Frog Tape Gloss and Satin won Silver in the 2015 DIY Week Awards and B&Q recognised the Duck brand as the only duct tape to recommend in a wide-reaching consumer PR campaign.
