Over 50 years since the launch of its iconic Old English Sheepdog brand mascot, Dulux has launched its first TV ad featuring a puppy.
The two-month old male puppy, which was chosen to star after a number of pups auditioned, features in an ad for Dulux Weathershield exterior paints.

The ad tells the story of a young couple who are shown painting the outside of their home, turning it from white to colour. The woman is pregnant and there is a little Old English Sheepdog puppy running around the couple's feet.

We then see the passing of time, and wind, rain and sleet around the house. Flashing forward several years, the same couple is seen leaving the front door of their home followed by a young child and the grown-up dog. The house still looks vibrant and freshly painted.

The 20-second advert launched on the Dulux YouTube channel and is now on TV. Viewers can also win their own Dulux dog cuddly toy via an interactive version of the latest campaign, viewable on Dulux.co.uk/interactive.

It allows the viewer to explore an immersive world of colour and includes interactive elements where all colours featured are clickable, sending users through to the website to purchase product. The film also allows users to click on objects and walls to explore the 'colour magic', with inspiration and 'how tos' throughout - including chances to win the cuddly toy.
